Here is the finished paint job. Creme colored stem with a minty green top coat. Next are the leather handlebars and the leather seat then on to the wheels.
Twenty frames for $100! Yeah it’s no lie… btw I love craigslist! I never just ease into something gently. Looks like I know what my nights are going to consist of!
About me
I am new to the whole game. Watching fixie's cruise the streets of PDX has inspired me.
The plan is to document the process of purchasing an old frame, tearing it apart, stripping it down to metal, picking new parts, rebuilding and eventually selling the bike once again on craigslist for a profit.
This blog will show what it takes to go from zero to fixie. I have started with no bike building knowledge and hope to finnish my first bike successfully enough to continue to post long into the future. Follow the mayhem and leave me a note if you could be of any help.
